I need confirmation of this bug: http://hub.qgis.org/issues/11455

We are fast approaching release date and it would be good to make sure
this isn't just a "local" (i.e. my) problem.

You can use the nightly build that includes the proposed fix: Changeset
691f4a2858665d191a307c3984891376c24a0d0b

Nightly build can be found here:
http://qgis.dakotacarto.com/nightly/qgis-mac-nightly.zip

You can run it right from the DMG.
