QGIS-Website issues

Hi,

I have just had a look at the issue reports for QGIS-Website. There are
a lot of issues open, some of them would be very easy to solve (e.g. [1]).

As the website is the first contact for many users it is an important
business card for the project and therefore imporatant it is in a good
shape - and it is a lot better than the old website actually.

Still, there is always the possibility to improve the website and I am
afraid, that people who could participate to do so will turn away if
there is no response to their suggestions.

I am aware that this is not a job that is "fun to do" nor a job that
makes a business model (at least not one I could think of right now).
But it would still be good to improve the situation. Do you have any
idea what we could do to improve the situation there?

Regards,
Matthias

Thanks for raising this issue!

Unfortunately, I don't have a good idea yet how to improve this situation ...

Looking through the current list of open issues, there are some
technical issues which can only be solved by people who are familiar
with the platform. Others are more concerned with the content of the
website and could be handled by more casual contributors.

In general, it might help to raise issues on the documentation team
mailing list to get attention.

Best wishes,
Anita
